Why go under the knife alone, when you can bring a buddy? ABC News reports that partnering up for cosmetic procedures appears to be a growing new trend. According to the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, over one third of facial plastic surgeons say there was an increase in the number of patients getting plastic surgery with a partner. With the increased acceptance and popularity of cosmetic surgery, this trend may not be a flash in the pan. Why pair up with a buddy to undergo a medical procedure? Doctors say that getting moral support, bonding with a friend or family member and/or convalescing together might all be reasons that people seek to have their procedures done simultaneously. |
