Given the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vegas Cosmetic Surgery (VCS) 2020 has decided to cancel its live, in-person event scheduled in Las Vegas this September. However, understanding the importance and need for a multispecialty event that unites the four core specialties of plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery and dermatology to share ideas, discuss current issues in the industry and network, VCS is excited to announce that it will proceed as a virtual event taking place September 24-27.

Vegas Cosmetic Surgery 2020 Goes Virtual

Given the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vegas Cosmetic Surgery (VCS) 2020 has decided to cancel its live, in-person event scheduled in Las Vegas this September. However, understanding the importance and need for a multispecialty event that unites the four core specialties of plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery and dermatology to share ideas, discuss current issues in the industry and network, VCS is excited to announce that it will proceed as a virtual event taking place September 24-27.

The decision to cancel the live event was not reached easily, but maintaining the health and safety of the community, as well as government and business restrictions on travel and gatherings led organizers to shift to a virtual event at a later date, allowing attendees, speakers and supporters enough time to adjust their plans.

With the help of the chairmen (Steven Dayan, MD and Renato Saltz, MD), along with the board of directors (Barry DiBernardo, MD; Paul Nassif, MD; Ava Shamban, MD; Mark Tager, MD; and Julie Woodward, MD), VCS organizers have designed a robust virtual program that maintains the tradition of VCS’s gold-star education and faculty you have come to expect, while still allowing for networking opportunities.

Virtual VCS will feature over 30 sessions offering a hybrid of lectures and panel discussions with live audience Q&A. Master Class sessions will cover minimally invasive treatments with cadaver dissections and patient demonstrations, in addition to technical surgical videos from the OR featuring some of the biggest names in plastic surgery; over 13 hours of practice management content; as well as meeting, networking and scheduling features to round out the experience.

MCS 2021 Registration & Abstract Submissions Now Open

Having received an overwhelmingly positive response to the inaugural Miami Cosmetic Surgery (MCS) conference, organizers are excited to announce that the 2021 event will take place February 25-27 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Building on the success of this year’s event in February 2020, Steven Dayan, MD, will return as scientific chairman. With his help, organizers are working on a high-quality educational and entertaining program that incorporates live injectables training with a cadaver lab; a surgical cadaver lab; live demos; the addition of the Certified Aesthetic Consultant program and more. If you are interested in participating as faculty, MCS invites you to submit your abstracts for consideration at: bit.ly/mcs21-abstract by October 25, 2020.
