Plasma skin regeneration is shaking up the aesthetic market as a non-invasive alternative to many cosmetic procedures, with Plexr Plus® by GVM (Rome, Italy) at the forefront. After treatment Dr. Fischer explained that patients can expect numerous small pixel-like crusts, or eschars, that fall off over several days after treatment, along with varying degrees of erythema, depending on the intensity of the treatment. The side effects are comparable to a strong sunburn, with some fine peeling and itching. “The post-procedure healing regimen consists of nourishing, moisturizing and essentially feeding the skin with various topicals, while sun blockers and big hats are de rigueur for several months,” he added.

Through sublimation, this non-ablative plasma treatment can be used on any skin type for overall rejuvenation on the face and neck.
