Buenos Aires, Argentina — A former Miss Argentina has died from complications after undergoing cosmetic surgery on her buttocks, the Associated Press reports.

Solange Magnano, 38, died of a pulmonary embolism after three days in critical condition following a gluteoplasty in Buenos Aires. Magnano was 1994’s Miss Argentina.

The AP reports that according to a friend of Magnano, the procedure involved injections, and the liquid “went to her lungs and brain.”
