The most googled cosmetic procedure in Texas? Lower body lift. In Montana, it’s CoolSculpting (Zeltiq). Wisconsin searches for dermabrasion more than anything else. New York wants to know more about male breast reduction. And, in California, it’s all about chin implants.

Who’d have guessed?

HighSpeedInternet.com took the guesswork out of it by tracking Google Trends data to reveal the most googled cosmetic procedure term in each state and uncovered a few surprises.

Minimally invasive procedures took the lead. In fact, CoolSculpting was the most searched aesthetic procedure, by far, topping search results in 17 states, including Vermont, Virginia, North Carolina and Alabama. But breast augmentation, which ranked second among the five most popular cosmetic surgical procedures performed, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery’s most recent statistics, didn’t top Google searches in any state. That could be, in part, because people already know what breast augmentation is, according to HighSpeedInternet.com news.

Botox, which comes under today’s most popular nonsurgical option, was the most searched term in Idaho, North Dakota, Nebraska, Maine and Massachusetts.

Another big search term winner: butt implants. People searching Google looked most for information about butt implants in Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Tennessee and Maryland. People in Illinois seem more interested in, or curious about, a different kind of implant, with lip implants topping Google searches in that state.
